A new contender in the tablet space, Western Leaf Electronics announced the Frenzy 8Z: a 7.9″ tablet which boasts pretty impressive specs.
The Frenzy 8Z has a quad-core (1.6 GHz), 2 GB of RAM, and 16 GB (upgradable to 32 GB) of internal storage under the hood. Housed in aluminum, the tablet is 7.2 mm thick and weighs a tad less than the iPad Mini, 0.67 pounds.
On a recent AnTuTu Benchmark comparison (that tests performance in CPU, graphics and memory among other things), the Frenzy 8Z scored a performance of 18K, closely tailing Google’s Nexus 7.
The 7.9″ Frenzy 8Z tablet has a 1024×768 Reality Display with a 170 degree view IPS screen. Other specs include dual cameras, front and back ones with 2.0 and 5.0 MP respectively, Android 4.2, Bluetooth 4 connectivity, and 4000 mAh battery capacity.
You can find out more about the Frenxy 8Z at Western Leaf’s website, and you can order on Amazon.
