A leak earlier today from Gamespot revealed Final Fantasy XV has been set a release date of September 30, 2016.
In a video which has now been set to private, the news of the release date and furthermore of a new demo was revealed. The video also reported that the demo will showcase the game’s “final visuals and combat system”, and will be shown at tonight’s Final Fantasy XV “Uncovered” event. The event begins at 7 PM PST / 10 PM EST at the Shrine auditorium in Hollywood, and is promised to reveal “key surprises that speak to the full entertainment experience.”
The news will no doubt come as a relief to fans of the series, who can now begin counting down the days until Noctis’ adventure will begin. Originally scheduled for release on the previous generation of consoles, the game has made the jump to this gen, and still retains much of the concept that was revealed years back.
