According to users on the GOG Fourm, Square Enix Registered the domain www.FinalFantasyVIIPC.com on June 15th, hinting that there maybe be a PC version of Final Fantasy VII.
The site has been taken down, but it can still be viewed in Google’s cache. According to the users who spotted the site before it was taken down, the new version will include 36 achievements, cloud saving functionality, and online profiles.
Square Enix has not yet said anything to confirm or deny the PC version of Final Fantasy VII.
This wouldn’t be the first time we’ve seen Final Fantasy VII on PC; it was ported for Windows in 1998.
