Final Fantasy 15 Gladious DLC Detailed and Standalone Price Revealed

Square Enix has revealed story details and standalone pricing for Final Fantasy XV’s first of three episodic DLC packs titled “Episode Gladious.” Square Enix has updated the season pass on the official Final Fantasy XV website; also included in the pass is “Episode Ignis,” “Episode Promopto,” and a multiplayer expansion titled “Comrades”.

Episode Gladious will put you in the shoes of series favorite Gladio, in an all-new story featuring completely different gameplay mechanics. The latest DLC has a standalone price of $4.99, while the season pass will cost $25. Currently, it’s unknown exactly how long the episode will last, but at the $4.99 price, we can assume it will only be a few hours rather than a full-fledged expansion.

“Picking up from the events from the group’s encounter with Ravus, Gladio leaves the group to train alongside Cor and become even more powerful. He sets on a path to face challenges by encountering larger than life monsters along the way.”

Square Enix has been continuously updating Final Fantasy XV with, holiday DLC, bug/gameplay fixes, as well as the upcoming fix for the dreaded chapter thirteen. It’s nice to see this much support for a single-player RPG, and with two more episodes as well as a multiplayer expansion on the horizon, Square Enix won’t be slowing down anytime soon.

Final Fantasy XV’s Episode Gladious is set to release March 28th for Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
