Final Fantasy 14: A Realm Reborn Prepares to Launch

Square Enix announced that August 17-19 will be the final beta weekend for Final Fantasy 14: A Realm Reborn as the game prepares to launch on August 27th, with early access available on the 24th for those who pre-ordered the game. Players will also have access to the free companion app for iOS called Final Fantasy: Libra Eorzea a week after the game launches. The game’s producer and director Naoki Yoshida stated that PC users that registered for what is now being called Final Fantasy 14.1 back in 2010 will have free access to the game until September 9th.

The game will sell for $40 on PS3, and $30 on PC. This price includes a 30 day trial subscription. Final Fantasy 14: A Realm Reborn will have a $13 a month subscription fee with an option for 30, 60, and 90 day subscription. There will be rewards for each subscription level, with players that opt for 90 days getting all three rewards.
