Final Fantasy X-2 was the first direct sequel Square made and it seems now it wasn’t the last. Just announced by Square, FF13-2 is already in production which will have a new battle system. Check out their website for FF13-2 here. Keep in mind that this is not Versus 13 but a sequel to FF13. Looking at the art on the main page of the website and the screenshot, it looks like our hero Lightening will be returning. As of right now, FF13-2 is set to be released next winter for the Ps3 and XB360.
