Attention ladies! *uses the force* I’ve found the hoodie you’ve been looking for! The one and only Princess Leia hoodie! I’ve been blessed with the chance to review this amazing Star Wars inspired hoodie by Her Universe.
You might not know that Her Universe is the vision from actress Ashley Eckstein, the voice of Ahsoka Tano in Star Wars: The Clone Wars. Her Universe and their partner The Arcara Group created Her Universe for the female sci-fi fans. This is an amazing place to get apparel from Lucasfilm and Syfy exclusively for us girls!
The hoodie is white in essence of one of Princess Leia’s most famous gowns she wears in the film. There is even a gray belt print on the hoodie to resemble the gown. The hood is brown with buns attached so when you put on the hood you look like Princess Leia. One of my favorite attributes about the apparel is that the sleeves have a slight bell shape like the gown.
This hoodie is made out of cotton and polyester. It is preshrunk prior so getting a size that might shrink after it has been washed is minimal. I would still recommend getting it in a larger size if you have a long torso. I am very tall and have this issue with most things I purchase. Layering tank tops are my best friend. Also, a really great suggestion to the hoodie would be to make the hood removable so you could take the ears off and it turn into a track-jacket like sweater.
Overall, this is a great addition to the Star Wars fan’s closet. It’s comfortable and warm. I would definitely recommend this hoodie to all the Star Wars loving ladies! A great gift for your loved one too guys!
