Fan-Made Miniseries Brings Halo ODST To Life

We may never see  a true Halo film or at least not in the near future, but there are other ways to get your theatrical fix of Microsoft’s flagship series. Starting in January next year will be the launch of an ambitious fan-made miniseries set in the Halo universe. The project is called Halo Helljumper, and it’s based on an adaptation of author Tobias Buckell’s short story “Dirt” from Halo: Evolutions.

The show will follow the life of an Human ODST, and will begin with his enlistment in the UNSC before the Human-Covenant War. It will show the tragedies he endures leading up the Fall of Reach. The trailer that was released along with a description looks to be very polished. It looks like a lot of time and money was placed into the making of this film.
