Every once in a while we come across a fan-made short or film so amazing that it moves us, especially when it tickles the inner nerd and action lover in us. Deathstroke Arkham Assassin is no exception.
Deathstroke appears to be all the rage these days, with the character’s recent appearance in CW’s Arrow, and Miami-based production company, Going Nowhere, have released a short film honoring the great assassin.
The short film’s storyline, as its name suggests, is congruent to that of Rocksteady and WB Games’s Arkham series, and takes place prior to the events of Batman: Arkham Origins. The Black Mask placed a bounty on the Dark Knight’s head, one that his mercenaries could not complete, and thus Deathestroke rises to the challenge.
Sure, the short may be a tad gratuitous (Deathstroke clotheslines a merc’s clean head off), but it’s an incredibly impressive production. This adrenaline-pumping short is directed by Chris White and Larry White, and the soundtrack is available for listening on SoundCloud.
I think Going Nowhere deserves a Like on Facebook, don’t you?
