Fallout Shelter Newest Update Brings Nuka-World to your Vault

Fallout Shelter

The latest update for Fallout Shelter is here! It brings a bunch of new Weekly and Special Event quests, Nuka-world crossover included.

Fallout 4’s Nuka-World DLC is just around the corner and a Fallout Shelter update has just happened to top it up. The folks at Bethesda have released today the so-called Update 1.7 for their mobile wasteland simulator with a bunch of new content and some extra surprises for followers of the main game. This update comes one month after the huge upgrade 1.6 that saw as well the launch of the Fallout Shelter for PC.

Update 1.7 adds new quests for our dwellers, therefore adding more “exploration and combat excursions” to the already existing ones. A nifty addition is the presence now of new quest types. These are divided into weekly ones (they begin every Friday) and special event quests, which will happen every now and then in a seasonal manner.

Fallout Shelter Prepares the Way for the Nuka World Add-on

In order to commemorate the launch of Fallout 4’s add-on, the first of these special event quests will be a Nuka-world themed mission. Once completed, you will enjoy a spontaneous visit of two of the park’s mascots: Bottle and Cappy. While they are contemplating the wonders of your well-provided vault, you can tap over them and get extra Caps and Nuka-Cola Quantum. On top of those ones, there is a bunch of new objectives that will challenge our dwellers and help them earn additional resources.

Fallout Shelter is the first venture of Bethesda into the world of F2P mobile gaming. The game has already surpassed the 50 million downloads worldwide and given Bethesda a rather sustainable income. Studio’s director Todd Howard confirmed a while back that Bethesda will continue developing more mobile experiences. However, they have not confirmed their next title.

Fallout 4’s Nuka World DLC is set to hit all platforms on August 30.
