After its initial release on June 14th (the night of Bethesda’s first E3 press conference), Bethesda has finally announced the Fallout Shelter Android release date. The first mobile game in the hit Fallout franchise will be released on the Android platform on August 13th.
The Android version of the game will launch alongside a slew of new updates to the game, including a new companion in the form of a Mr. Handy robot. The robot will be able to explore the wasteland, as well as collect resources within your vault. Also introduced will be new threats to the vault, like Molerat infestations, and even more threateningly, Deathclaw attacks. These updates will also be available on iOS devices on the same day.
