Fallout 4 is a week away and it’s actually a really big deal. So while we wait five more days until this year’s biggest release, let’s revel with the new launch trailer.Â
The trailer opens up with a haunting claim: “Everything can change in an instant, whether or not you’re ready.” We then get a few scenes of a pristine, calm Boston before the nuclear attack, and a ruined and barren wasteland covered in the ashes of what once was. Between the gameplay snippets, the narration speaking coldly of class warfare and the mysterious Institute. We can’t help but feel the game’s narrative will be bigger than anything Bethesda has tackled before in their open-world RPGs.
Pip-boy. Vault Dweller. Power Armor. Explosions. Deathclaws. Mutants. Abominations. Synths. Factions. Radiation. Settlements. Guns. More Guns. Bigger Guns. Post-apocalyptic Boston has it all.
Fallout 4 is coming to Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC next Tuesday. We can’t wait.
