Fallout 4 is the Most-Played Game on Steam

Art of Fallout 4

The highly anticipated release of Bethesda’s Fallout 4 has been extremely successful and the numbers do not lie. At this moment, Fallout 4 has the highest number of players on Steam.

Those numbers are impressive if you take into consideration that Fallout 4 was just released yesterday. The hype train for the newest addition to the Fallout series was real and players around the world have decided to buckle in for the apocalyptic ride.

After Bethesda announced that Fallout 4 was indeed a real thing and that it was coming to all systems this November, everyone around the world immediately began their pre-order craze. With thousands of pre-orders happening all around the world and the infamous Fallout 4 Pip-Boy Edition having sold out within minutes of release, it comes to no surprise that the newly released game is doing so well.

At this moment, over 350,000 gamers are exploring the Commonwealth with Dogmeat by their side and an ice cold Nuka-Cola in their hands. Those numbers have even currently trumped over Dota 2 and the also newly released, Call of Duty: Black Ops 3. Fallout 4 has also received an outstanding 7,000 reviews on Steam in its first 24 hours, granting it a “Very Positive” user rating. The game has also received high praise and positive reviews from game critics all around the web.

Will Fallout 4 keep climbing to the top with massive sales numbers or will it hit a wall and stop dead? Only time will tell, but so far Bethesda’s Fallout 4 has had a very successful first day. Hopefully by the end of the week Bethesda will kindly release the sales figures for Fallout 4. What are your thoughts on Fallout 4 having the most players currently on Steam right now?
