Enjoy 8 Minutes of Infamous: Second Son Gameplay

Deslin stops by for a quickie.

Sucker Punch‘s Infamous: Second Son comes out at the end of the week and every time it’s show the excitement only grows. The Infamous series has been one of Sony‘s more successful exclusive IP’s and the next installment of the choice filled action-adventure series will be its first on the next-gen console, fully taking advantage of the improved hardware. Don’t just take my word for how beautiful Second Son looks and sounds, watch the official 8 minute gameplay preview below.

Of the multiple powers we’re promised to have in our arsenal we’re given a glimpse of the smoke and neon abilities through the eyes of a ruthless player. Fluidity is the first obvious trait when it comes to this gameplay. Streaming up the side of a building and glowing, whipping around the city is an obvious testament to the expanded creativity of the already inventive series. The combat follows suit by effortlessly flinging neon grenades, smoking through enemies for powerful face breakers, turning them to dust and other incredible superhero-esque talents.

Travel in style!

In this preview the charm of Deslin Rowe, brought to life by the exceptional Troy Baker, is spotlighted, as is his relationship with fellow newcomer and conduit Fetch. The personality is all there and teases a game where you’ll invest in the characters as much as you’ll be enamored by the environments around them.

Infamous: Second Son comes out March 21 exclusively for the PS4. Come back to TGF for our full review soon.
