The Elder Scrolls Online | New Details Revealed on Update 15 and Horns of the Reach DLC

The universe of The Elder Scrolls Online keeps on expanding. ZeniMax unveiled what novelties are coming for their game, and they are not small things at all. The Update 15 and the next paid DLC pack after Morrowind, Horns of the Reach, are slated for August already and bringing more new content to the table.

Horns of the Reach will be available in the Crown Store and as part of the ESO Plus membership. On the other hand, Update 15 comes free for all players.

The Elder Scrolls Online: The New Updates in a Nutshell

The biggest attraction from Horns of the Reach is the addition of two new dungeons, Bloodroot Forge and Falkreath Hold. The first one will take us to profound, lava-filled pathways as we search for the forge’s heart to stop a dubious production of weaponry. The second is actually a besieged township by dreadful hordes where we’ll take the battle from the streets to a monstrous warlord. Each dungeon will be available in both normal and veteran modes and will reward our efforts with new unique item sets, monster sets and achievements.

Update 15 is bringing new PvP action for their Battlegrounds, a mode that appeared recently with the Morrowind DLC. This translates in a new map for the basic rotation, Arcane University, and a new game type, Chaosball. As its name indicates, it’s all about capturing and owning the “ball” as it follows other Battleground battle types in its fast-paced nature.

Last but not least, Zenimax is committing a lot of quality of life improvements, bug fixes and further balancing. Those of you who would like to try all these wonders ahead of time can do so on the Public Test Server next week. If you want to know more details about what’s to come, don’t hesitate to check their website.
