On January 30th, Blackberry launched its new and improved operating system known as Blackberry 10 that will provide users with a newer, intelligent keyboard, a platform-wide flow interface, “active frames” that allow real-time updates to the home screen, and other improved features like larger screens and better processors. Coming in the Spring of 2013, the first Blackberry phones to operate on the Blackberry 10 system, will be available for purchase; the Z10 which is a full touchscreen phone, and the Q10 which will feature the traditional Blackberry keyboard.
What does Blackberry 10 have to offer for mobile gamers? Big name titles, stunning visuals on larger Blackberry screens, and a re-designed Blackberry World storefront specifically for the Blackberry 10 platform allowing mobile gamers to read reviews, browse applications, and purchase EA games. EA Mobile titles available for the Blackberry 10 system are: The Sims FreePlay, Tetris, World Series of Poker, Monopoly Millionaire, Mass Effect Infiltrator and Dead Space. (You’ll also find PopCap’s Plants vs. Zombies and Bejeweled 2 as an added bonus!)
The Z10 and the Q10 will be available through all service providers later this year.
