E3 2019 – Cyberpunk 2077 Interview

For the second year in a row, Cyberpunk 2077 has blown us away. During E3 2018, we got our first glimpse at the Cyberpunk world and combat. This game reminded many players of a combination of Deus Ex, Blade Runner and Akira. It was the shining star at the show last year. During E3 2019, nothing has changed. At this year’s show, CD Projekt Red, delved deeper a into the game’s systems, player choice, and your character in this world. Senior Level Designer, Miles Tost gives us a deeper look into some of the back end systems and world traversal in Cyberpunk 2077. There are so many small things happening all over the Cyberpunk world without the player knowing. The fact that the only loading screens in the game are during fast travel is really an amazing feat. CD Projekt Red is really flexing their muscle with this game. If it is anything like last year, everyone will be able to see the behind the closed doors demo around the time of Gamescom. Cyberpunk 2077’s release date is quickly approaching and we have no doubts that this will be a great title.

If you are a fan of deep RPG systems, complex player choice and consequence, and a cyber futuristic story, you will definitely enjoy Cyberpunk. We can’t wait to take a deeper dive into this futuristic first person role playing game. Cyberpunk 2077 releases April 16, 2020 for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC.
