E3 2012 | Watch Dogs Revealed

In the grande finale of Ubisoft‘s media briefing, a cryptic video began playing which spoke about ctOS and how it essentially acts as the brain for future America, in a way that was very surreal. As the trailer plays, the story begins to unfold and we eventually learn that not only is this not Rainbow Six: Patriots, but a brand new IP which takes a deeper look at the world today and shows us something along the lines of the Illuminati and how everything in our world is controlled and monitored; everything from the power grids of entire cities to tracking everything we do on our personal computers. The trailer pulls at your curiosity strings extremely well, and the gameplay is rich and compelling. Every pedestrian on the street as a profile with a name, occupation, and income.

The game seems as though it takes all the best things about games like Grant Theft Auto, Heavy Rain, and your favorite action game and blend it together in a beautiful package with graphics that could rival some of today’s best console games. Don’t believe us?
