E3 2012 | Just Dance 4 Features Innovative Wii U Puppet Master Mode

Once again, Ubisoft is bringing family and friends together to get up, and game. The party will be bigger than ever thanks to a fantastic track list, some old school and new, more interactive game modes and a new Just Sweat feature. Just Dance 4 features  more than 40 new, fun tracks. No mater the genre, pop, Hip-Hop, rock, or maybe even a little funk, there is something for everyone.

Just Dance 4 is set to release early October 2012 on the Wii,  Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, along with the Wii U

A sneak peak at the song list:

  • Call Me Maybe – Carly Rae Jepsen
  • Disturbia – Rihanna
  • Good Feeling – Flo Rida
  • Maneater – Nelly Furtado
  • Moves Like Jagger – Maroon 5 ft.  Christina Aguilera
  • Never Gonna Give You Up – Rick Astley
  • Rock Lobster– The B-52’s
  • So What – P!nk
  • Super Bass – Nicki Minaj
  • You’re The First, The Last, My Everything – Barry White

New and Improved

Battle Mode: During six rounds of dance battles, players go head to head in this new mode In the all-new Battle Mode. With real time changes during your battle, this paves the way for some interesting competitions.

Alternate Choreographies: You now have the ability to unlock alternative dance routines for some of the songs. So if you’re the extreme dancer, like myself, you can choose  a more fast and challenging routine or one with crazy  choreography.

Expanded Just Sweat Mode: Just Sweat mode gets a re-up, with new workout sessions, customizable programs and even a calorie counter, just to remind yourself that you’re actually suppose to dance, not just move the wand around.

Wii U-exclusive

New 5-player gameplay with an exclusive Puppet Master Mode. This Mode allows the player operating the Wii U GamePad to switch up dance routines that are being performed by the four other players. Now instead of walking in front of the TV and distracting from the gameplay, you can just grab your GamePad and change the routine. In this mode, the operator also has the power to create choreographies and choose playlists for the other players. Also, the lucky one holding the GamePad can   write on-screen, creating live dedications and even take pictures and videos to share to the world.
