Dynasty Warriors 7 Empires and Fist of the North Star 2 to be Released in Early 2013

Techmo Koei has been pretty busy lately making some video games. They’ve just announced that they have not one, but two games launching in Q1 of 2013 with both Fist of the North Star 2 and Dynasty Warriors 7 out early next year.

The first game to launch in February by the Techmo crew is Fist of the North Star: Ken’s Rage 2. This is the second installment of the video game adaptation of the manga, Fist of the North Star. The new title will offer a new Legend Mode that follows the storyline of the manga and feature major boss, fight scenes from the books. In Dream Mode, users will get to play through new, original story lines that stitch some gaps in the main story. With over twenty playable characters, dynamic moves, and co-op and competitive play, Fist of the North Star should be a worthy title for fans and newcomers alike.

The second title gracing the latter part of  February is the ever-so-classic Dynasty Warriors. Dynasty Warriors 7 Empires is an all new title focussing on a new subject, and that’s who the player want to be. DW7E will allow the player to manipulate history and be a Ruler, Strategist, or Free Officer: three classes that the player will follow in his or her play through of the game. Furthermore, the game will feature high levels of customization from weapon animations to facial features. These customized characters can then be downloaded into other player’s games and include information about the original creator’s play style for a pseudo-multiplayer experience.

The fun begins February 5, 2013, when Fist of the North Star: Ken’s Rage 2 launches on XBox 360 and on Playstation 3 (as a PSN title), with a Wii U version of the game coming at some point after that date. Dynasty Warriors 7 Empires is a PSN exclusive and will launch on February 26.
