Dying Light Story-Based Expansion Announced

A new story-based expansion has been announced for Dying Light. The new expansion, called The Following, will feature a few new additions for fans of the game.

The new expansion for Dying Light will feature dune buggy vehicles that won’t only be used for transportation, but as a weapon against the infected. The game’s producer Tymon Smektala adds that the expansion’s map is large in comparison to previous maps seen in the game.

“For Dying Light: The Following, we’re adding a number of bold game-changers to create one massive expansion,” Smektala mentioned. “Something big that will give the game a brand-new flavor. The new map alone is the same size as all the previous maps from Dying Light combined, so there is a lot we’re packing in here.”

Dying Light dlc

Developer Techland is also listening to feedback from fans to implement into the new expansion. Players can play The Following through the game’s Season Pass for $20 or purchase it on its own. However, there’s no information on how much the DLC will cost on its own, according to GameSpot.

Expect a full reveal for The Following soon as Gamescom approaches.
