Download 700 Marvel issues for free, right now! Limited time offer!

That’s right folks, between now and 11PM EST tomorrow, you can download 700 Marvel issues, absolutely free. Ladies and Gentlemen, that is not a typo. As part of the promotion with the SXSW festival in Austin, Marvel and Comixology have teamed up to provide 700 number one issues for free to download.

You can download the comics at ComiXology’s site , but it is being hit quite hard right now (naturally). Another option is to try the iOS or Android apps. Once you have the comics downloaded, you can view them on your computer or phone/tablet devices. I’ve used ComiXology before a bit in the past, it works very well, and is a great digital reader.

Seriously, this is an amazing deal. Seven hundred issues, and all the big names are there. Joss Whedon, Stan Lee, Jeph Loeb, Brian Michael Bendis, Matt Fraction, Kevin Smith, Jonathan Hickman, Ed Brubaker, Jason Aaron, and Chris Claremont. It’s really insane. I hope you are able to take advantage of this before it runs out. Tomorrow night at 11 EST. All the first issues of the new Marvel NOW! comics are there, as well as scores of old classics. Really, it’s crazy how awesome this is. Thank you Marvel! Happy Monday!
