Don’t Miss October 2020’s Games with Gold

With Halloween less than two weeks away, we have a few spooky titles to keep you preoccupied until we are able to celebrate a night of creepy ghouls and filling your pumpkin full of candy. Let’s check out the games that are only available for a limited to time for all Xbox Live Gold members.

October 2020’s Games with Gold Lineup

  • Slayaway Camp: Butcher’s Cut (Xbox One – $16.99 Free): Oct. 1 to 31
  • Maid of Sker  (Xbox One – $24.99 Free): Available Oct. 16 to Nov. 15
  • Sphinx and the Cursed Mummy (Xbox One/360 – $14.99 Free): Available Oct. 1 to 15
  • Costume Quest (Xbox One/360 – $14.99 Free): Available Oct. 16 to 31

Slayaway Camp: Butcher’s Cut

First game we have up for the Xbox One in this month’s Games with Gold is Slayaway Camp: Butcher’s Cut. You play as Skullface, a cute deranged villain, in this title that pays homage to classic ’80s trash horror. Terrorize your way through camp counselors and other blocky victims that you’ll find. There are over 300 wicked puzzles in this new ridiculous dimensions of horror. Play at your own risk!

Maid of Sker

Second on this month’s lineup for the Xbox One is Maid of Sker. Ready for a scare? Take on this first-person survival horror set in a remote hotel with a macabre history that is based off Welsh folklore. You must not panic and stay alive! Find the courage to stay as stealth as possible from enemies that can hear you. Do your best to survive through this nightmare of the Quiet Men!

Sphinx and the Cursed Mummy

Third title we have up for Games with Gold is Sphinx and the Cursed Mummy. Play as Sphinx, who is joined by his timid hero friend, the Mummy, in this inspired mythology game of ancient Egypt. Follow them as they travel the world to prevent Set’s evil plans. Using stealth, agility and your special powers, find the stolen magical crowns and save the world. Can you do it?

Costume Quest

Last game to complete October’s Games with Gold is Costume Quest. Monsters fill the neighborhoods of Auburn Pines and you must protect it. With plenty of quests to complete, level up your hero and collect super powered magic costumes in this Halloween tale. Build up your party and take down the evil that will steal the imagination of the kids and the kids-at-heart in this party-based role-playing title.

Now that wraps it up for October 2020’s Games with Gold. Which games will you be playing or currently playing? What would you like to see next month? Sound off in the comments below, and we’ll see you for November’s Games with Gold lineup!
