After 11 seasons, 5 NFC Championships and being a 6 time pro bowler for the Philadelphia Eagles, the team has decided to part ways with Quarterback Donovan McNabb.
McNabb was traded earlier to the Redskins for a 2010 2nd round pick (37th overall) & 3rd or 4th round pick.
With Mike Shanahan now the new head coach for the Redskins, it looks like he isn’t holding back on making the team a contender for in the NFC for the 2010/11 season.
Philadelphia named Kolb the starter, with Michael Vick the backup (but things could change). The Eagles with also face their Division rivals twice this season.
Sides are pretty even on the debate on whether this was a good idea or not. Only time and this season will tell you who got the better of the deal.
