For gamers looking to spend more time in the world of Dishonored, Bethesda has you covered. Today they announced that the upcoming DLC Knife of Dunwall will be available April 16th, with one exception. The content will arrive a day later on the European PlayStation Network, with no explanation for the delay.
Knife of Dunwall is the second in Bethesda’s planned trilogy of add-on packs for Dishonored. You will play as Daud, an assassin from the main game in a “search for redemption.” I won’t spoil for you what he’s done; that’s something you’ll have to find out for yourself in the main game. Bethesda does hint at how he plans to find redemption, stating, “The Outsider reveals the key to your atonement, but who– or what– is Delilah?”
With a new character comes new abilities. Daud’s powers include “Summon Assassin,” where he calls for help from Whalers, Void Gaze, a move that helps reveal hidden Runes and Bone Charms, and Choke Dust, a stun move. Daud also has his own arsenal, packing a “Wristbow,” a concealed wrist-mounted mini-crossbow, and Stun Mines, which electrocute enemies.
Daud’s quest to keep his humanity begins this April, when Knife of Dunwall hits PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC. The pack will run you $9.99, or 800 Microsoft points. A third DLC, titled The Brigmore Witches, will release later on.
