Dishonored 2 Free Trial is Now Available

Dishonored 2

If you haven’t played Dishonored 2 yet, this may be your chance. Bethesda has announced that a free trial is now available for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC users.

This trial grants complete access to the first three missions of the campaign. Players can play as either Empress Emily Kaldwin or Corvo Attano, loyal protector and father. Bethesda noted that any progress made in the demo will carry over for anyone upgrading to the full game. If you want to download it, head to the game’s page on either the PSN Store, Xbox Marketplace or Steam.

The first three missions are enough to plunge you into the lively, yet dark universe of Dishonored 2.

Dishonored 2: Making Balance

With the hectic videogame schedule we are leading these days, it easy to forget that Arkane’s sequel has already been with us for several months. Dishonored 2 arrived in November last year amidst great expectations. It was generally well received; it currently holds an 88 on Metacritic and appeared on several game of the year lists (including ours). In total it picked up over 100 “Best of 2016” awards according to a press release from publisher Bethesda.

Dishonored 2 continues the events of the first game and presents us with a new location, Karnaca, and a not-so-new villain, Delilah Copperspoon. The game revolves around the dethroned empress, Emily, and her race back to power. It also expands its gameplay possibilities to allow for more stealthy and diversified combat, branching out the whole fighting experience.

If you want to read more about our fanatical takes on the game, here’s Tyler’s look at its character development and Jake’s final review. What about you, Fanatics? What’s your opinion on the games and the saga in general? Let us know!
