Disgaea 4 was announce at the Tokyo Game Show and is set to drop in February for Japan and the summer of 2011 for the states. This is a tactical RPG that has kept the tradition of said game style over the years and will continue to do so with the fourth installment. However, the sprites will be polished to HD, but the original feeling will still be present.
For some who haven’t picked up a Ps3 yet might opt to get one now since Disgaea is rated high among gamers.

– Political-themed motif; you can control government factions.
– Able to invade your friend’s worlds online.
– Looks like Axel (Disgaea 2) is in as one of the main characters.
This game is so serious in being good, that the President of Nippon Ichi Software came out in a Prinny suit at this year’s TGS. I guess we know that the man doesn’t take himself seriously all the time.
