Digital Download of The Amazing Spider-Man and DLC Release at the Same Time

If you’ve been living in a hole, you may not have heard about a little movie that came out called The Amazing Spider-Man. It did pretty good, I hear.  Unlike a lot of videogames based on movies, The Amazing Spider-Man for PC, Xbox 360, and PlayStation 3 is releasing afterwards along with four DLC packs.

Activision has put out The Amazing Spider-Man for download on the Xbox LIVE Marketplace for 4800 Microsoft Points, $59,99 on the PlayStation Store, and $49.99 on Steam.  They also released four “fan-favorite” DLC, Rhino Challenge Pack, where you “Take control of the massive, genetically engineered villain Rhino and rampage around Manhattan,” Oscorp Search & Destroy Pack, in which ” Spider-Man has his own smartphone to help navigate around Manhattan, locate missions and challenges and fight crime,” Lizard Rampage Pack, where players “take on the role of Dr. Connors’ terrifying alter ego in a race against time,” and the Stan Lee Adventure Pack, where players play the “role of Stan “The Man” Lee in his own special mission across Manhattan, borrowing abilities from his old pal Spider-Man as they collect pages of his latest script in a spectacular race around Manhattan.”

The Amazing Spider-Man has an original story by Hollywood writer Seamus Kevin Fahey  who wrote for a few shows you may have heard of (Spartacus: Vengeance, Spartacus: Gods of the Arena, Battlestar Galactica).

So what are you waiting for? Hit your digital store of choice and download a copy of The Amazing Spider-Man!
