September 3rd saw the launch of DCUO, or DC Universe Online, Eighth DLC called Sons of Trigon. This DLC adds a warped and demonic section to Gotham City, called the Gotham Wastelands, in which players fight the forces of Trigon using the new Celestial powerset. Use powers such as Smite, Renew, and Guardians light to fight your enemies, or to heal and protect your allies.
Donna Troy and Cheetah are added to the DCUO Legends PVP roster, with Cheetah becoming the first speedster to be arrive in the Legends PVP arena.The DLC adds a new Alert in which players join forces with Wonder Woman, or Circe in a battle against Trigon himself. To top off the new DLC are three new tier five Duos that take place in the Gotham Wastelands- Tunnel of Lust, Ruined Cathedral and Knightsdome Arena
For those unaware of who Trigon is let me explain it for you. He is a super bad, crazy evil demon who also happens to be the father of Raven, a founding member of the Teen Titans. Trigon has destroyed planets, enslaved millions, and is hell bent on the destruction of earth. With his epic list of powers, such as immortality, energy projection, telepathy, size-shifting, super strength, virtual invulnerability, reality manipulation, telekinesis, and matter transmutation, it will take all of the DCUO’s heroes to stop him.
