DC Universe Online Confirmed for PS4 Launch

And I cannot tell you how excited I am for it.

But I will anyway.

OH MAN!  DC Universe Online is one of the few MMO’s that have worked on consoles and despite it’s molasses slow start DCUO will continue into the next generation, and boasting new moves, powers, equipment, updated graphics and gameplay.

Hey everyone, come see how good I look.
Hey everyone, come see how good I look.

The move is great for both Sony and Warner Bros. Interactive as not only is DCUO an MMO that could bolster the online community of Sony, but it’s free to play. In other words, the PS4 will launch with at least one free game (and a fun, proven one at that).

For those that already have been playing the highly entertaining create-your-own-superhero title, there has been no word on whether characters or accounts will carry over to the PS4, if it will run on the same servers or any other information; only that it will simply exist.

It would be an incredibly helpful idea to carry-over accounts as players could get a head start on DCUO before the PS4’s launch, but either way it’s a smart move.

Any one of my fellow Fanatics can tell you that I absolutely love DC Universe Online and theres reason why, go play it and you’ll see.

Yes, this is me. No, I don't feel ashamed.
Yes, this is me. I feel no shame –my family does.

Watch the announcement trailer below and look for the new DC Universe Online –presumably– this Holiday season, when the PS4 is speculated to launch.
