Dangerous Driving: A Beautiful Symphony of Destruction – PAX East 2019

Taking the time to play Dangerous Driving and talk to Alex Ward may have been the highlight of our PAX 2019 experience. Alex is a former Criterion employee that has put his blood sweat and tears into creating something that the fans have wanted for a long time. His passion and enthusiasm for video games really shined during our conversation. It’s crazy to think that Dangerous Driving was created by a group of 7 people.

The game looks and feels really good. The spirit and soul of the original Burnout games are really captured well here. Sometimes it just feels good to sit down and play a driving game that doesn’t take itself too seriously when it comes to simulation. We can’t wait to spend some more time with the game. In the interview we talked about a tone of features and post launch content that will be coming to the game. It will be releasing April 9th for Xbox One, PS4, and PC. Check out the interview from PAX below for more information.
