Countdowns and Introductions- New Spec Ops: The Line Trailer Goes Loud

2K Games have announced that the brand new trailer for Spec Ops: The Line will launching on November 22nd, at 8 am ET. After the launch, 2K plans to relay media coverage via their twitter feed (@2KGames) so the public can get a flavour of how the game feels to play.

Spec Ops: The Line puts players into the shoes of Captain Martin Walker, as he leads a Delta Force squad through sand-ravaged Dubai in order to rescue U.S. Army Colonel John Conrad. The once prestigious city has been abandoned after being under buried under millions of tons of sand, with only outlaws and refugees left roaming the remains. Just like other games in the series, The Line is played from a third person perspective with an emphasis on tactics and squad commands.

Most interestingly though, 2K are promising “dynamic sandstorms” that effect level design on the fly. The game’s first trailer hinted at the potential of fighting on a constantly shifting and unpredictable environment, but we haven’t seen much since then, so this is something of a relaunch for a series that has had mixed reviews in the past.

Keep it locked to Game Fanatics for more Spec Ops info.
