Civilization VI Presents Gorgo, Queen of Sparta

Civilization VI

2K Games has shared a new Civilization VI trailer in which they reveal Gorgo, a famous Spartan queen. Not only that but they have also confirmed the return of the multiple leaders feature.

Its official release date is getting near and Civilization VI is looking all nice and interesting. In these days of anticipation, 2K Games keeps on sharing details of some of its protagonists and the factions that we will see in the game. If you head to their Youtube channel, you’ll get a pretty nice grasp of the line-up. We have folks like Peter the Great (Russia), Saladin (Arabia), or Phillip II (Spain), among others. The last big leader revealed is Gorgo, famous Spartan queen, who will lead the Greek faction. She relies on Culture perks to expand your influence – but her approach to war is way more aggressive than, say, Pericles (another leader teased).

The trailer is not only good in showcasing the special abilities and attributes of this nation: it also confirms the return of multiple leaders. What does this mean? That we’ll have various commanders to represent out nation and take our Civs strengths in different directions. In this way, for instance, Greece can have both Gorgo as unique leader plus Pericles as bonus, making up for juicy perk combinations.
