Paradox Interactive will be bringing their award-winning management game, Cities: Skylines, to Windows 10 and Xbox One. Developer Tantalus Media worked closely with Paradox Interactive in order to optimize the game for play with a controller. The game is currently penned for a Spring release.
Here’s what Fredrik Wester, CEO of Paradox Interactive, had to say about this announcement:
“Paradox is a company that’s proud to publish and support ‘niche’ games, and we’re happy to be able to bring those specialized experiences to console as well. Cities: Skylines has built one of the biggest and most active communities we’ve seen among Paradox’s fans, and that’s saying a lot. We can’t wait to welcome Xbox One players into that group, and I’m eager to see the towns and cities they can build.”
Cities: Skylines is a best-selling management game currently available for Linux, Mac and PCs. The newly announced Windows 10 and Xbox One versions include the award-winning base game along with the After Dark expansion.
Cities: Skylines allows players to build the city of your dreams. As mayor of their virtual city, players will be faced with balancing essential requirements such as education, water electricity, police, firefighting, healthcare and much more, along with your city’s economy.
