From Tetsuya Mizuguchi, creator of the visually stunning Rez, comes the rhythm action game Child of Eden. Filled with eye candy, an ethereal environment and pulsating music Child of Eden was named “Game of the Show” by Eurogamer at last years E3.
Child of Eden thrusts you in the center of a battle to save Project Lumi, a mission to reproduce a human personality inside Eden, the archive of all human memories. As the project nears completion, the archive is invaded by an unknown virus. The Player’s mission is to save Eden from the virus to restore hope and peace.

Using the Kinect there are two control schemes in Child of Eden: players can use their left hand for rapid fire shots and right hand to for lock on shot as shown in the trailer. Alternatively, players can use either hand for one type of shot and clap to alternate.
This particular trailer shows the game with Kinect but Child of Eden will also be playable with standard controllers.
Child of Eden releases in the US on June 14th for the Xbox 360. Child of Eden for PS3 is set to release in September 2011 and is expected to have Move support as well.
