Check Out the PS Plus: Free Games for October 2017

PS Plus

Sony has just announced the October line-up of games for PlayStation Plus subscribers. August brought the brutal Just Cause 3, with all its action “a la Michael Bay”. September, inFamous: Second Son, another triple-A hitter with an 80% score on Metacritic. October is not falling back and it’s bringing us Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain, Kojima’s last signed work in the Metal Gear Solid series.

The Phantom Pain scored a 10/10 here, in The Game Fanatics. From it, we commended its open-world fun and boundless possibilities, nicely tied up with amazing stealth action. Its narrative circles around revenge, anger, and war and feels fundamentally different from every other entry in the Metal Gear series.

On top of that, RIGS returns to the list, as well as the cheerful That’s You!, the first one in the new PlayLink collection, that allows you and up to five other friends to discover what each other is thinking. And if you fail to do so, at least you’ll leave with the feeling of having spent a few games in good company.

Here’s the full list of games available to you from October 3rd onward on PlayStation Plus:

  • Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain (PlayStation 4)
  • Amnesia: Collection (PlayStation 4)
  • RIGS: Mechanised Combat League (PlayStation VR)
  • That’s You! (PlayLink)
  • Monster Jam Battlegrounds (PlayStation 3)
  • Hustle Kings (PlayStation 3)
  • Hue (PlayStation Vita y PlayStation 4)
  • Sky Force Anniversary (PlayStation Vita y PlayStation 4)

PS Plus

And here’s the current line-up, which you can still enjoy in the upcoming days:

  • inFAMOUS: Second Son (PlayStation 4)
  • Child of Light (PlayStation 4)
  • Truck Racer (PlayStation 3)
  • Handball 2016 (PlayStation 3)
  • We Are Doomed (PlayStation Vita & PlayStation 4)
  • Hatoful Boyfriend (PlayStation Vita & PlayStation 4)

You may as well try to snatch Child of Light, a very acclaimed RPG platformer developed by Ubisoft Montreal. Another curious option is Hatoful Boyfriend, a dating simulator where every single candidate is a… dove.

Have you played any of the titles above, Fanatics? Did you follow Snake’s steps in Kojima’s last Metal Gear adventure? What other titles are you looking forward to playing in the upcoming month? Let us know in the comment section!
