Sony has just announced the October line-up of games for PlayStation Plus subscribers. August brought the brutal Just Cause 3, with all its action “a la Michael Bay”. September, inFamous: Second Son, another triple-A hitter with an 80% score on Metacritic. October is not falling back and it’s bringing us Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain, Kojima’s last signed work in the Metal Gear Solid series.
The Phantom Pain scored a 10/10 here, in The Game Fanatics. From it, we commended its open-world fun and boundless possibilities, nicely tied up with amazing stealth action. Its narrative circles around revenge, anger, and war and feels fundamentally different from every other entry in the Metal Gear series.
On top of that, RIGS returns to the list, as well as the cheerful That’s You!, the first one in the new PlayLink collection, that allows you and up to five other friends to discover what each other is thinking. And if you fail to do so, at least you’ll leave with the feeling of having spent a few games in good company.
Here’s the full list of games available to you from October 3rd onward on PlayStation Plus:
- Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain (PlayStation 4)
