It has been a long, long wait for Nintendo fans for the return of the angel Pit in the Kid Icarus series. While that wait is finally over on March 23rd, Nintendo isn’t letting the final month of build up happen quietly. Starting March 8th, Nintendo of America will begin hosting multiplayer tournaments in a bracket style that will end on March 22nd in a national championship in New York City.
Each round will happen at select GameStop locations across the country:
– San Francisco, CA (March 8th)
– Orlando, FL (March 11th)
– Los Angeles, CA (March 15th)
– New York, NY (March 22nd)
Winners from each market will be able to take place in the national finals at the GameStop in New York City at Broadway and 84th street. In addition, gamers at that store will be able to pick up a copy of Kid Icarus Uprising a day early, those lucky bastards.
