Alright, I’ve got Mass Effect: Andromeda pre-purchased, I’ve re-downloaded GTA V, and I’ve avoided talking about how bad Nintendo Switch cartridges taste. What to do this week..? Hm. I’ll think about it later. For now, let’s go over the past week’s news in another installment of In Case You Missed It!
In Case You Thought Redfield Looked a Little Different in RE7…
Capcom wants you to ignore the discrepancy. Since Chris Redfield was announced as the star of a future DLC for Resident Evil 7, fans have since noticed that the classic character looks a bit off from his previous incarnations. Some theorists came up with a very convoluted explanation that stated “Redfield” was actually a minor character from prior installments named Hunk. I’m not sure how they came to that conclusion, but the theory gained enough ground for Capcom to officially shut it down.
In Case You Wanted to Be the Biggest Zelda Fan…
Here’s the next milestone to hit: using an ocarina to control your house. Youtuber SufficientlyAdvanced rigged up a Raspberry Pi and a Legend of Zelda ocarina to control a ton of contraptions around his house. Take a look at the video below!
In Case You Missed the Hearthstone Card Reveals…
I got you covered. If you want a summary, Day9 and Peter Whalen showed off 11 new cards from the upcoming “Journey to Un’Goro” expansion and answered some questions about each card. If you already knew that, some savvy explorers have discovered the day the expansion will come out: April 6.
In Case You Are Waiting for the Next Elusive Target in Hitman…
Here’s something to read in the meantime. IO Interactive posted a retrospective from the past year on their blog, detailing some of the wackier shenanigans players have gotten up to and all the additional content the developers have added since launch. My favorite bit of info: “70 people died in one puddle in the game.”
That’s all for this week’s In Case You Missed It! What else did I miss? Let me know in the comments below!
