Call of Duty: Black Ops II Coming to the Wii U

While it hasn’t been ‘officially’ announced that the latest Call of Duty title will be coming to the Nintendo Wii U, it certainly looks like it’s a very real possibility.  Activision has been deliberately dancing around any specifics, but Activision Publishing boss Eric Hirshberg said, “We don’t have announcements today, but we will be supporting Wii U.”

It’s pretty easy to imagine the possible features that the Wii U GamePad could support.  We could see things like full map UAV which would not only free up part of your television screen but it would be handy to see the full map without hitting select, thus taking your eyes off the fight.  I could see a weapon loadout screen allowing us to adjust our classes as necessary, a more interactive way to use your kill streaks that would free up your screen so you can still see what’s going on around you while calling in your predator, and I’m sure that they will incorporate the Call of Duty Elite program as well.  It definitely sounds like the technology forward theme that they are always shooting for- no pun intended.  What features would you want to see used on the Wii U?  Let us know, and be sure to check back for further Call of Duty: Black Ops II announcements!
