The highly anticipated FPS is almost here, and as per usual, info is streaming in slowly, but surely, to us peons who don’t work on the game. Call of Duty: Black Ops Declassified is the handheld version of the game an it has a lot of hype surrounding it, in typical CoD fashion.
The game is worth getting excited over because its: a.) One of the first BIG, BIG 3rd party titles coming to the Vita, and b.) It’s Call of Duty. The renown multiplayer experience and epic single-player experience will all be present in the handheld title. The game will have exclusive content that is specifically designed for the Vita, but we have to wait and see what all that good stuff will be.
The handheld version has a listed price on Walmart for $49.99. That’s pretty expensive for a Vita title, but there’s no doubt going to be content in the game. Treyarch has a history of packing lots of extra goodies into games, like Nazi Zombies: A cult phenomenon on it’s own. It’s unknown if Nazi Zombies will make its way to Declassified, but Walmart has detailed some multiplayer including Special Ops mode.
Call of Duty: Black Ops Declassified will launch later this year.
