Bulletstorm was a vastly underappreciated action game that came out last console generation. A frantic combination of arcade style action with crass black humor developed by Polish developer People Can Fly alongside Epic Games. But it appears the game will have a second chance at life thanks to Gearbox Software. It is currently scheduled for release on April 7, 2017 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
In an official announcement at this year’s Game Awards, Randy Pitchford announced the re-release of Bulletstorm: Full Clip Edition. The first game to be published under Gearbox Publishing with People Can Fly returning remastering their beloved action game. This remaster will include support for ultra-high resolutions, including 4K support on PlayStation 4 Pro and PC, increased texture and model quality and a smoother framerate.
In addition to having all previously released DLC being included in the package there is a pre-order incentive: Duke Nukem. Yes, if you pre-order the game, you will have the ability to completely play through the campaign as one of the biggest names in classic shooters, completely voiced-over by the man himself, Jon St. John.
