Sonic Generations has broken the record for most preorders in Sonic’s gaming history. Keep in mind, we didn’t have the option to preorder games back in the Genesis era but regardless, this could be a good sign.
SEGA has been pulling out all the stops when it comes to marketing and the demo isn’t that bad either. It could be because of the marketing that caused Generations to break records or it could be that gamers are finally happy to be able to play as classic/retro Sonic once again.
Only November 1st will tell if this game is truly worth the hype.
