Today at GamesCom 2012, Team NINJA set if off strong with the revealing of Brad Wong and Eliot to enter the tournament in their upcoming release of Dead or Alive 5.
Just as a refreshment, Eliot has been a Xing Yi Quan prodigy taught by Master Gen Fu. As literally the youngest contestant in the tournament, Eliot has a respectful attitude towards his competitors but can be one of the most aggressive in the ring. He’s lightning quick on his feet and uses coordinated movements to generate bursts of power to overwhelm his opponents all while defending and attacking at the same time.
Brad Wong returns with his classic “Drunken Master” fighting style which I hated to continue to confuse his opponents with his unpredictable attacks. After completing his search for the legendary wine Genra he’s back. To be honest, I’m actually excited for this one.
At GamesCom, Team NINJA had more to reveal. They also showcased a new levels in a small Chinese house. This new stage is just another brilliant example of the interactive stages that we have in store for us when Dead or Alive 5 releases. Including an intense online mode which will allow players to test their skill with the best of the best from around the globe I’m getting more excited the more news is released about this game.
Tecmo Koei is at GamesCom, so if anyone’s there we encourage you to stop by and check out the game in all it’s glory!
