Borderlands 2 New Class and Level Cap Coming Soon

The sixth new playable class in Borderlands 2 was finally revealed at this years PAX East, Krieg the Psycho Bandit.Krieg is primarily a melee character, but has a few ranged attacks that can rip your enemies to shreds. Set your enemies and yourself on fire with the Hellborn tree, embrace your inner psycho with the Mania tree, or stack attack bonuses with the Bloodlust skill tree.

Krieg will come as part of the Psycho Pack DLC that will be available in May for $9.99 or 800 MSP. If you’re a season pass holder, the Psycho Pack will not be included as part of the pass. The DLC coming on April 2, however, will be.

This April 2, the Ultimate Vault Hunter Upgrade Pack will be available for download. The pack can be purchased for $4.99 or 400 MSP if you’re not a season pass holder. The new pack will raise the level cap from the original 50 to 61, and will unlock a third playthrough of the game through the new Ultimate Vault Hunter game mode.
