As reported during the opening ceremony, Blizzard announced the WoW Annual Pass, a 12-month subscription to World of Warcraft that comes with a free copy of Diablo III, a WoW in-game mount, and guaranteed access into the Mists of Pandaria beta. Today we learn some more specific details about the deal.
One of the more important details announced was the fact that even though you’re locked in for a 12-month subscription, you still have the option to only pay on a monthly basis, as many WoW subscribers probably are doing currently.
The in-game mount will launch with WoW Patch 4.3, which is due by the end of the year, so expect to see hundreds of those in the near future.
Should you choose to pick up the Collector’s Edition of Diablo III, like myself, then you have the chance to enter the CD-Key in on Battle.net and in return, you’ll be gifted four months of WoW free, essentially covering the cost of the normal edition of the game.
Those who wish to sign up for the WoW Annual pass just need to click any one of the ads plastered all over Blizzard’s websites and simply opt-in on their WoW account of choice.
