Bethesda is bringing the world of Marrowind, Oblivion, Skyrim, Fallout, Dishonored and RAGE to iTunes.
Music in video games have certainly come a long way since the days of Pong and Super Mario Bros.. Sure, the 8bit and 16bit era of music had its moments but with the past and current generation of video game systems, the bar has been raised when it comes to music in video games. It is no longer a matter of just a great story, set of characters and gameplay but the feeling a piece can give allows the game itself to bloom into something more. These days we have video game concerts like Video Games Live and covers of video game themes (check out the feature video). Music in games truly have come a long way. If you haven’t already checked out the music from some of Bethesda‘s greatest, you can now. Now available via iTunes are whole soundtracks as well as individual tracks.
