Atelier Meruru: the Apprentice of Arland Release Announcement.

NIS America has announced taht Atelier Meruru: The Apprentice of Arland will be releasing to western audiences in the spring of 2012. Atelier Meruru is the lastest addition to the Atelier series, and follows Princess Meruru, the game’s quirky protagonist, as she delves in to a world of alchemy in her quest to become the apprentice of Totori Helmold.
NIS America has gone in to some depth about the world that players will play through, expounding on the timy kingdom of Arls, located on the northeastern border of the Arland Republic, which is where Princess Meruru has grown up. Her quest begins when she is first exposed to alchemy by Totori Helmold, and her passion grwos as she sets out on an adventure to hone her skills. She will find excitement, danger, and friends on her journey.
Atelier Meruru boasts a new “Development” system, where players can affect and develop the surrounding land of Arls, as well as in depth item synthesis and an engaging turn based battle system. With improved game systems, and the return of beloved characters from the other Atelier installments, Atelier Meruru promises to entice old and new fans alike.
