Assassin's Creed: Unity Season Pass Offers Loads of Single-Player Content

Assassin’s Creed: Unity is just under two months away and in an attempt to maximize the hype, Ubisoft has revealed some details on the Assassin’s Creed: Unity Season Pass.

The Season Pass looks to offer some interesting content this time around. Since Assassin’s Creed: Unity will not feature a competitive Multiplayer mode, Single-Player fans can rest easy knowing all the content will expand on the game’s main narrative and further explore other Single-Player adventures.

For just $29.99, the Season Pass will grant access to the Dead Kings Campaign and an entirely new, yet small, game called Assassin’s Creed Chronicles: China.

In the former add-on, players will see Arno traveling to the city of Saint Denis after the game’s main narrative. Creative director Alex Amancio claimed Dead Kings will be “the darkest story we’ve ever told in the franchise.” Armed with a “Guillotine Gun” and a bright lantern, Arno will be tasked to travel through the underground passageways of Saint Denis and unravel the dangerous mysteries within. The add-on also promises to include three new co-op missions that take place back in Paris.

What’s more interesting is Assassin’s Creed Chronicles: China. In this add-on, players will assume the role of assassin Shao Jun in 16th century China. As one of the last of her Chinese Brotherhood, her story focuses on a tale of revenge against those who caused utter destruction to her family. This add-on features a brand new art style to the series and will expand on the game’s core combat through Shao Jun’s martial arts skills and new Assassin gear like the Jian Sword and the Foot Blade.

AC Unity ChinaUbisoft says that all of the Assassin’s Creed: Unity Season Pass content will be released by “early 2015.” In addition to the two major add-ons, Season Pass holders will also be given “over 30 new weapons, equipment and outfits” on launch day.

You can check out the Season Pass trailer below for a better look at all the featured content.

Assassin’s Creed: Unity will arrive to Xbox One and PlayStation 4 on November 11th in North America, November 13th in Europe and November 14th in the UK.
