With a new year upon us, S2 Games is ready to bring us the first new hero for Heroes of Newerth, their DotA inspired game, of the year with Artesia, a ranged intelligence hero that appears to fulfill the role of a ganker. Perhaps most interesting about her, though, is her focus on low-cooldown and low-manacost spells, something that Heroes of Newerth usually doesn’t feature in their heroes.
S2 has been developing some pretty interesting hero concepts lately and Artesia is no exception; lets see how she’ll translate to gameplay starting this Friday.
In addition, S2 has also announced that there will be a sale in their in-game store, offering 25% off everything available, minus sub accounts, name changes, and stat resets.
